Happy Halloween!!

"Happy Halloween!" This year Luke was a skeleton or according to Luke he says he was "bones" for Halloween. I went and got his costume right before it was time to go to our church party & trick or treating...so when I came home with the costume it was a bit too small and we didnt have time to return it for a bigger size leaving Luke in a snug tight skeleton costume. After the struggle of getting him to wear the costume and squeezing it on...Luke had the time of his life! We first went to our ward trunk or treat party and then we went trick or treating with his cousins. He couldn't believe he could just go to everybody's house...say trick or treat...and get free candy! It took him a few tries and then after that he was set and could do it all by himself. Luke did not want this day to end. It took awhile to calm him down and get him to bed after all the sugar intake.

Luke's Surgery Day

Yesterday Luke went in for surgery. He had a hydrocele and a hernia. The pre-surgery part was a little hard as he had to fast from midnight up until his surgery which was at 1pm and check in was at 11am. The acutal surgery went well. When we got to see him after the surgery he was not happy with us and his only mission was to get out of that hospital. He cried and struggled to get out from the time we saw him up until we left the hospital. The hard part for him was his legs were numb and so he couldn't walk. When one of the nurses came in the room to take his I.V. out he decided it was taking too long and ripped it off himself which caused some bleeding making him more mad. After we finally made it home after a long day at the hospital...he took a rest and that was the only time we could get a picture of the sweet Luke. As far as recovery goes...he is doing pretty good. He just gets really frustrated as he is realizing he can't do much causing him to be grumpy. Who can blame him?? I hate watching him walk, he makes it look so uncomfortable. Its pretty hard telling a 2 year old to take it easy. As for now, were just glad its over with and that he is doing well... wishing the recovery process will go by fast.

Baby Names

Hey Friends and Family! Jon and I have been talking about baby names for our little girl arriving in December. There are so many cute baby girl names out there. Our list started at about 10 names and now we have it down to our favorite four. We both like them all ALOT! We thought we would have some fun with it and see what "ya'll" think by doing an annonymous poll.

Family Vacation #2... Aspen Grove

We just had our Albright reunion at Aspen Grove. Every other year we meet up with all the Albrights with siblings, parents, grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles and have a super fun trip. Our group just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Thanks to Granny and Grandpa Albright for making it possible!!
After Aspen Grove my side of the family went and stayed at my Brother Curts house. We all crammed in there for a few days and had some more fun. Too many Albright's at once can get a little crazy! Ha! When we came home, Luke didn't know what to do after having the 24/7 cousins to play with. We really enjoyed spending time with the family!

Can you tell it was getting too hot at the park? All the kids went to hang out by the water fountains.

Happy 2nd Birthday Luke!

Luke just celebrated his 2nd Birthday on August 8th. I can't believe he is already 2. Time seriously goes by way too fast. We figured he's still pretty young to really know whats going on so we didn't have a big party and decided to have a fun family day. We first started the day by going to IHOP for breakfast, then we went to a sprayground park that he just loves, went to the fist store to get a knew fish for his fish tank and then went over to his cousin's house for cake and ice cream. As far as gifts go...well, my parents got him a train and lets just say that is all he needed. He absolutley loves it! He doesn't want to eat or sleep he just stares and plays with his train. It is too funny! Luke says thank you Grandma and Grandpa Albright!

Luke at the spraypark.

He always meets a new friend everytime we go. This one kind of looks like his cousin Cade.

This video is of Luke playing with his "choo choo train" for the first time. This one is for Grandma and Grandpa.

Surprise!

Its a girl!!!!!!
Jon's guess was a girl and mine was a boy. Jon has been right with Luke and now this one. And I have been wrong on both! We are soooooo excited to be having a baby girl! At 15 weeks we were told we were most likely having a girl and then today we went and had our 20 week sonogram that confirmed it's a girl. After the sonogram we went to the store and I had a hard time staying away from the baby girl clothes section. Now we are looking for some cute girl names so if you have any ideas please share!

Today I am exactly 20 weeks! The half way mark!
